Sheep Farm Worker Needed In NEW ZEALAND
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a looking for a highly motivated worker to join our team for full time work over the busy summer period starting after the New Year period in January. Our high-country station in the Kakanui Mountains runs over 20,000 stock units with both beef and sheep, with lower blocks of developed grazing crops. Over this period we will need help with lamb weaning, as well as management of the lower fattening blocks.
This would be a great opportunity to work with a skilled sheep dog trailist, learn about lamb finishing operations, and gain a wide range of stock management skills. Working dogs would be an advantage but not essential. Previous farm experience would also be a huge advantage. Pay may be negotiated in accordance to experience and skill.
