Cash Officer (Cashier)
DFS Australia is looking for a highly organised, results driven and team-oriented Cashier to work on a full time basis in the Cash Office at our Sydney T Galleria store.

The Cashier reports directly to the Cash Office Team Leader and plays the important role of ensuring daily operations of the Cash Office are carried out effectively, in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and diligence at all times, whilst maintain exceptional customer service standards.

The Cashier is responsible for basic accounts functions including counting and balancing, reconciliations and basic reporting, administrative tasks, and attending to customers both in person and over the phone.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills/attributes:

Fluent in English;
Excellent organisational and time management skills;
Attention to detail;
Ability to multi-task, take the initiative and be proactive in serving the needs of customers;
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment;
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) and email/internet is essential;
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business administration, accounting, or similar preferred;
Applicants with previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded;
Flexibility to work on a rotating roster including weekends, evenings and public holidays in line with business needs;
A desire to build a career with DFS.
Our Sydney T Galleria is open 7 days from 11.00 am - 7.00 pm.  Applicants must be flexible and available weekends.
