Under the direction of a Licensed Practical Nurse or Manager, you will provide services to residents including personal care, activities of daily living, laundry, housekeeping, portering, recreational activities, and leisure activities where applicable. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Health Care Aide certificate or equivalent and GED or grade 10 English equivalency required. Dementia care training and Food Safe certificate is an asset. Previous experience with palliative care is an asset. Experience working with the elderly and disabled is preferred. You are able to communicate information in English both verbally and in writing so others can easily interpret and understand it fully. 

REQUIREMENT
All new employees are required to submit:
- a current and clear Criminal Record Check and if applicable, a Vulnerable Sector Check that has been obtained no more than 90 calendar days prior to the hire date;
- a tuberculosis screening that has been completed no more than 12 months prior to the hire date.
