A powerhouse in their sector, this large scale manufacturer based in the Eastern suburbs supplies building products to the residential and commercial building markets. Due to sustained growth, they are looking for a factory hand to assist with production and assembly. This person will be assembling both aluminium and timber products - therefore previous experience is highly regarded.

Initially the successful person will join the team as an on-hired employee working Monday to Friday 38 hours per week. Opportunities will exist for the right person to move into a permanent role after a successful 6 month contract. The successful candidate will be working day shift between the hours of 6am-3pm.

To be suitable for this role you will have:

An ability to work in a team environment
Previous experience assembling or installing building products (such as shower screens, sliding doors, glass products or splash backs)
Strong use of all hand and power tools
Accurate measuring and interpretation skills
Previous experience within the glass and glazing, blinds and awnings, windows and doors or manufacturing environments would be advantageous but not essential.
