Oxford University Scholarships (Fully Funded)
Oxford University is one of the top universities in both England and in the world. No one knows when Oxford University was founded, but the first evidence of teaching was in 1096, making it the oldest English speaking university and second oldest university in operation. A major change occurred in the 13th century, when some students and faculty left Oxford University to start its rival, Cambridge University.
Oxford University is made of 38 colleges and four academic divisions. In these various institutions, there are over 23,000 students including 11,728 undergraduates and 10.941 graduate students. There are many international students as well totaling 9,900 students which is 42 percent of the total student body. This is a great news for international students since Oxford accepts many students globally.
Being able to study in Oxford is very difficult since only one student out of five application gets selected for admission. So, to be competitive for Oxford, students need to be near the top, if not the top, of the class.
Rankings
In Times Higher Education World University Rankings, Oxford was ranked first globally. This should not be a big surprise since Oxford is the oldest English speaking university and also conducts ground breaking research. Oxford University is not ranked high in just one ranking system but in several including QS World University Rankings.
